Who is Vārāhī?
Sri Vārāhī is one of the most revered and powerful manifestations of the Divine Mother in the Śākta tradition. She is the Śakti - the power - of Lord Varāha, the Boar incarnation of Lord Vishnu, and occupies an exalted position among the Sapta Mātṛkās, the Seven Divine Mothers.
In the Sri Vidyā tradition, she is worshipped as:
Śrī Daṇḍanāyikā
The Commander of the Divine Forces
Śrī Vārāhī Ambā
The Mother who wields decisive power
She is the general of Lalitā Tripurasundarī's celestial armies, and is responsible for protecting Dharma, removing obstacles, correcting karmic deviations, and guiding spiritual aspirants through difficult transformations.
If Lalitā represents Divine Grace - then Vārāhī represents Divine Action.
