A new sanctuary rising in Tuticorin
A vision long held, now taking form in stone, bronze, and devotion.
We are building the Bhairavar Saamrajyam (The Empire of Bhairavar) - a temple where two of the most powerful guardian deities of the Sanatana tradition, Lord Kāla Bhairavar and Goddess Panchamukha Varahi, are honoured together in their full eighteen-foot majesty. Our prayer is that every devotee who enters feels both protected and uplifted, regardless of where they come from.
The temple is rising in Tuticorin, on the south-eastern coast of Tamil Nadu - a region soaked in centuries of devotional life. The site has been carefully chosen and consecrated according to traditional Agama principles, so the sanctum may stand as a true seat of divine presence.
From the laying of the first stone to the carving of the eighteen-foot murthis, every stage is being carried out by traditional sthapathis under the guidance of learned acharyas. The work proceeds slowly and faithfully, as such a sanctum demands.
The temple is being established and maintained by a charitable trust dedicated solely to the worship, upkeep, and service of these deities. More details about the trust, its members, and how to participate will be shared here as the project progresses.
